“An artist who makes the sidewalk and art counting for nothing in Saint-Etienne.” This is how, in a few words, Ladamenrouge presents himself.
For about ten years, he has realized about two hundred works. The artist has fun with everything he finds on the ground, the walls or in the street. “I never plan in advance what I’m going to do, it’s really random.
In front of a blank page, I am unable to draw something, I need to be stimulated by what surrounds me,” he explains.

His goal is to create a work that blends in with the environment: “I am satisfied when people don’t immediately notice one of my drawings.” Inspired by the street, his works are often humorous. “I did some political caricatures but I was not very comfortable, I prefer to be funny,” he says.
